Welcome to US Interstate Moving. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern your access to and use of our long-distance moving, storage, and related services. Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.
US Interstate Moving provides professional long-distance moving services, including residential and commercial moves, packing services, storage solutions, and transportation of belongings. Our services are available to customers in the continental United States, and for long-distance moves across the country.
2.1. Residential and Commercial Moves
We offer moving services tailored to both residential and commercial clients. Our team is experienced in handling household items, office equipment, and other sensitive goods, ensuring your move is smooth and efficient.
2.2. Storage Solutions
We provide temporary and long-term storage solutions in secure, climate-controlled facilities. Our storage services are designed to protect your belongings for any length of time, whether you require short-term storage or a more extended arrangement.
2.3. Dedicated Moving Coordinator
To make your move as stress-free as possible, US Interstate Moving assigns a dedicated moving coordinator for each customer. Your coordinator will manage every aspect of the move, including scheduling, logistics, and communication, ensuring a seamless relocation experience.
3.1. Non-Binding Estimates
Initial estimates provided by US Interstate Moving are non-binding and are subject to change based on the final weight, volume, and services required. Any modifications to the estimate will be communicated to you before we proceed with the move.
3.2. Final Pricing
Final pricing is based on several factors, including the distance of the move, the weight and volume of the items transported, any additional services requested (such as packing, unpacking, or storage), and any unforeseen circumstances encountered during the move.
3.3. Payment Terms
Payments for services rendered must be made in accordance with the payment terms set out in your contract. Full payment is due upon delivery of your items unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Failure to make timely payments may result in delays or cancellation of services.
4.1. Accuracy of Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the items to be moved, including any special handling requirements for fragile or high-value items. Any changes to the items listed must be communicated promptly.
4.2. Prohibited Items
Certain items are prohibited from transport, including but not limited to hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable goods, and any items that require special permits or licenses for transport. Customers must disclose any such items before the move. US Interstate Moving reserves the right to refuse to transport any items that are considered prohibited.
4.3. Preparation for Move
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items are properly packed and prepared for transport unless packing services are included in your contract. Any delays caused by improper preparation may result in additional charges.
5.1. Basic Liability Coverage
US Interstate Moving provides basic liability coverage for your belongings as required by law. This coverage compensates you for any damage or loss incurred during the move at a standard rate per pound, per item. Additional insurance can be purchased for higher-value items upon request.
5.2. Claims for Damages
If any of your items are damaged during the move, you must file a written claim with US Interstate Moving within 30 days of delivery. Our team will review the claim and provide a resolution based on the nature of the damage and the coverage purchased.
5.3. Limitations of Liability
US Interstate Moving is not liable for damage to items not properly packed by our team, items transported without prior knowledge, or damage caused by unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to weather, road conditions, and natural disasters.
6.1. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
6.2. Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your move, please contact your moving coordinator as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes in scheduling, but rescheduling may be subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida. Any legal disputes arising from these terms or your use of US Interstate Moving's services shall be resolved in the courts located within Broward County, Florida.
US Interstate Moving reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the customer’s responsibility to review the terms periodically.

A properly licensed interstate broker, such as US Interstate Moving, LLC, is not a motor carrier and will not transport an individual shipper's household goods, but will coordinate and arrange for the transportation of household goods by an FMCSA authorized motor carrier, whose charges will determine by its published tariff. All estimated charges and final actual charges will be based upon the carrier's tariff which is available for inspection from the carrier upon reasonable request.
